I was amazed at the level of service from Arbortec. I had a small payment issue on my end and they responded immediately letting me know the order had been received. I ordered on a Thursday, and it shipped from the UK and was delivered to my address in the US by Monday.
The pants themselves are incredibly rugged. I realize that more durable materials weigh a little more and will be somewhat warmer, but I intend to use these pants for a long time given the price. Lots of great features like vents, buttons for suspenders, zippered pockets, and a lace lock. They are a little form fitting, which I don't mind, but some people may have a hard time finding the right size. I'm 5'9, 145 and the small regular size fits perfectly.
Fantastic bag. Holds a lot of gear, probably more than you actually need to put in it..

If you’re not afraid to work in the rain then this jacket is a must have. Works great as part of your climbing system. Does not interfere the extra length makes it easy to slide your harness over your jacket. Vents nicely as well and keeps me dry. Excellent investment.
Not stiff or bulky, nice and loose and breathable. Best pants I’ve had so far.

I wish the ankle support was a little taller but that is the only take away these are the most comfortable work boots I have ever owned so far.
The quality has improved over time, the addition of the Kevlar crotch under the stretchy fabric saved me from lots of sawdust on the man bits, something I struggled with the first pair after the stretchy fabric blew out. One improvement I would suggest is thicker, stronger thread on the pocket seams and the buttons, maybe add a dot of superglue after the buttons are sewed on. Every pair I've lost the front suspender and crotch buttons over time due to the thread unraveling from whatever stitch is used to secure them. Other than that great pants and I will be buying them again. Also, the lower leg fabric is phenomenal for long wear, maybe an additional panel of that on the front upper thighs would be beneficial. I fall timber full time in the pacific northwest and average 1500 hours a year in all weather conditions. I got over 2000 hours out of the last pair, .25 cents an hour average is worth the larger price tag over clip on chaps. Thanks for taking the time to read my review
after trying all the other brands, i got a pair of these from my employer. i liked them so much i immediately bought another pair. the only downside is that i’ll never wear my other pants again!
Couldn’t wait to get my hands on theses things when I first saw them. The covered zippers are a great feature. The higher abrasion resistant material and added knee protection will definitely make these pants last longer. The zip off gaiters are also awesome for someone that doesn’t like gaiters but for me I like them. Arbortec is where it’s at!!
Come from Europe came pretty quick had my boots over a year and made a difference in the comfort of my boots wear then year round as I’m a tree climber on the north east USA I would buy again but bought two pairs love my boots…
